When I was just 14, I was diagnosed with cancer. The same year, I gave my life to Christ. That collision of physical suffering and spiritual awakening planted a seed: even in darkness, God is near.
But that was just the beginning.
Years later, I lost my grandmother — my closest confidant — three days before my wedding. I carried deep grief into what should have been my happiest season. Then came the stillbirth of our first daughter at 38.5 weeks. I held her, named her, and buried her all in the same week.
And in 2023, I said goodbye to my mother — another heartbreaking loss to cancer.
These moments were not just painful — they cracked something open in my soul. They made me question what I believed about God, healing, and hope. They brought me face-to-face with emotional walls I didn’t know I had.
They also led me to the PATH.
